![]() I’m glad that she got that sort of closure, and that they are going to take care of her. So to see Hanji die, then immediately pop up as if nothing happened and meet all of her fallen comrades again was nice. I didn’t think she needed to volunteer to die (especially since Reiner was dying to –haha, get it?) but then I realized maybe she was just tired.īeing commander was hard for her, and with the exception of Levi, all of her friends were already gone. So, this is going to be a shorter review than usual – as this was mainly set up and the culmination of two very powerful character arcs: Floch and Hanji Zoe.Īlthough I still don’t agree with The Alliance of Good Eldians and…whatever their ‘plan’ is, I thought it was nice how Hanji went out. I decided to check Reddit on a whim and lo and behold, here we are. Wow, and here I thought the new Shingeki no Kyojin chapter wouldn’t be out until October. Armin thanks the past shifters for their help and uses the colossal titan explosion to destroy the founding titan’s body.Check out my review of SnK Chapter 131 here. Upon doing that, the spine thingy attempts to reconnect Eren’s head, but Reiner stops that from happening. With the rumbling stopped, Jean takes the opportunity to blow Eren’s head off. I thought Zeke was just the key to getting into the paths. I don’t understand why Zeke’s death stopped the rumbling because Ymir was the one who gave Eren the power to activate it. Killing Zeke stopped the rumbling, so Hange’s theory was true. This just shows how tired Levi must feel. Levi fulfills his promise to Erwin by killing Zeke, but Levi doesn’t look happy about this despite the bitterness they shared. Zeke mentions that the Path realm is a place where people aren’t truly dead, so bringing people back somewhat makes sense? Moving on, Zeke comes out and signals Levi to kill him, and Levi kills him with no hesitation. It reminds me of avenger endgame, but less impactful. I don’t know how to feel about this, to be honest. They took over their individual titan and defended the alliance. He woke Bertolt, Galliard brothers, Ymir, Ksaver, Grisha, and Eren Kruger. Zeke woke up past shifters, most likely due to his royal blood or the fact he was needed to activate the rumbling, so he had some control over some aspect of the rumbling. That being said, this is where shit gets weird as past shifters come back in the world of paths. Zeke always wanted to save Eldians, so it’s not like he didn’t care about humanity. Let’s not act like Zeke is Obito or some shit. ![]() Yes, Zeke got talk no jutsu’d, but remember there are levels to this. Some people call this talk no jutsu and are upset. ![]() Zeke also agrees as he recalls the happiest part of his life was when he was throwing and catching a baseball. I agree with Armin’s way of thinking because I believe the little things in life mean a lot. However, Armin believes what gives life meaning is the trivial moments in life despite the fact it may not mean much. The alliance is simply delaying their inevitable deaths. Zeke believes that it’s pointless to continue fighting because, at one point, everyone is going to die. However, it’s important to note how Isayama uses Norse mythology elements in attack on titan, so I assume reading up on Norse mythology will give us more insight. I have no clue what this is supposed to be. ![]() In the panel, life was presented as this centipede-like thing. Zeke gives us a quick rundown of how life began and how life’s purpose is to multiply. The chapter starts with Zeke and Armin talking about life and what’s the meaning of life.
